ABOUT ANESSA
Anessa Sewell Kent grew up in Opelika, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University. Anessa has taken her love of southern people, culture, food, and colloquialisms and drawn on her personal experiences and keen observation of all things southern to bring you The Bitter and The Sweet. Anessa currently lives in Dothan, Alabama, and is the mother to her beautiful daughter, Jordan. The Bitter and the Sweet is Anessa’s first novel.
