Dwarf Japanese Cedar

Cryptomeria japonica ‘Globosa Nana’

LANDSCAPE USE
There is only one word that does this plant justice: adorable. These guys have been bred to be self-pruning and shaping, naturally forming a fluffy, tactile orb. The individual fronds have an almost faux, plastic like appearance that begs for touch. It is evergreen, but flushes with some shades of bronze during fall and winter. These look amazing in a set of matched urns to flank entryways, or to bring structure to a garden with mostly herbaceous plantings.

PRUNING
Should require none, any pruning at the top of the plant may cause it to slowly lose its distinctive shape.
