LANDSCAPE USE
One of the smallest Encore series available, these plants are suitable for low informal hedging, to define property edges, and of course right in the middle of wide beds. The flowers are a soft lavender shade with speckling of darker purple spots. Their pale color really pops against the dark leaves. These plants were also selected for their naturally rounded form, reducing pruning.
PRUNING
Very little necessary, for size and shape control any pruning should be done immediately after the spring bloom flush to avoid removal of the next years’ budding sites.
KING’S TIPS
Poorly drained planting environment will at best result in stunted unhealthy plants and at worst dead plants. Check your drainage to make sure the soil drains.
