Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’

LANDSCAPE USE
Annabelle is such a lovely gal! She makes large bright white flower heads that are nearly round. They really glow like orbs contrasted against the dark leaves on spring evenings. Rather than standing perfectly upright, ‘Annabelle’ tends to bow slightly, lending grace to the composition. In late summer the heads morph into a vibrant green that holds it’s color well when dried. These are great cutting flowers in general, the heads are just small enough to work well in arrangements rather than overwhelming them, and the slight bowing exposes the top of the flower rather than the side.

PRUNING
Prune all growths down to about 18” after the plants have lost their leaves for the season (December in our area.) Such treatment ensures large, vigorous growths and ample blooming.
